Excellent product, it did everything it was meant to do
Michael L.
This product works as it should and that is a very nice change, from what is out there
Thank you
jason b.
Easy to use, works great!

Worked great. One man show here and was able to swap a master cylinder and bleed brakes in 45 minutes. Love it
Steven M.
Bleeding brakes is simple in theory and I’ve done it many times over the years. But when it comes to bleeding the brakes of my little girl’s motorcycle, I had peace of mind knowing it was done right and she was going to stop with the Phoenix brake bleeder.
Shannon S.
Device does not get all air out of system. When you are finished with the bleeding process be for you can close the bleeder screw air gets into the caliper. My old vacuum bleeder is much simpler and works every time and cost less than $100.00.
Michael P.
I’m just struggling with several things, priming the system to remove air bubbles the plunger doesn’t spring back like I would expect, it seems to suck a little air and generate additional air into the lines, fittings don’t seem to really seal like I would expect. It was very expensive and I’m not really getting the success I wanted.
G P D.
Having successfully used your "entry level" model for several years, I concluded that it was time to "upgrade"!
I haven't had an opportunity to use this new unit yet, but anticipate only the best.

Still working on project

It broke on the first wheel I tried to use it on! What a rip-off!
James L.
Perfect brake tool, easy to use for brakes and hydraulic clutches. Save me alot of time
william h.
Tried on 3 vehicles and so far doesn’t work as advertised for me at all had to do it the old fashioned way all 3 times not a good $400 investment for me at all.
Jeffrey W.
The tool has problems with the seals. It sucks air bubbles and the piston does not return, it’s hard to press and it’s very sticky
Stephanie
I like the entire set up
Albert S.
Excellent system. The model I recently purchased is more robust compared to my earlier model. Both models while performing well, the model constructed using metal should be, I feel, a longer lasting unit. You can't go wrong purchasing either model to end up with a far superior brake bleeding process.
Kenneth L.
The tool / gun worked great . The rubber elbows that attaches to the brake bleeder cracked and leaked after 2 uses.
Craig M.
I received my order quickly and intact. Quite happy so far with the quality and construction. Made bleeding the brakes on my motorcycle easy for me. Thanks.
Diego R.
Easiest way to do the job one man
William R.
This thing sucks can i return it ? it leaks and doesnt bleed the system.
Mark J.
With all the weird routing and up and down brake line bends necessary on our Ultra-4 racer, no other brake bleeder worked to truly purge the air from the lines.
David W.
Ended up having to bleed the system the old school way even after attempting to use tool.
Michael J.
Great tool easily flushed my brake system on my Dodge Ram. Money well spent
Timothy M.
Great product and is very well made!! I haven't had a chance to use it yet but pretty sure I'm gonna love it!!!
Themes M.
Very Disappointed with my purchase. I spent the extra money on your best kit, yet it continually would suck in air bubbles in the lines from your supplied resivoir bottle and the fittings. due to this is was only used to pump brake fluid into new calipers.....
Barry F.
Didn’t even get front and back brakes bleed , it quit working
Rick C.
Did not work as advertised. Leaks everywhere and makes a huge mess.
Very unhappy with my purchase
David M.
IT'S great , thank you
Jackson H.
Great product overall, really helped me out when working with my brakes.
Daniel D.
Traditional pressure bleeding is far easier.
Jeremy B.
It was great. Thank you guys!
GEORGE (MIKE) M.
Fantastic addition to the race car shop!

Works great. Fast shipping

The unit is solid and feels very professional. I was able to finally get a firm pedal with it's reverse bleeding function. I would highly recommend this to anyone bleeding brakes!
Robert N.
I chose this because my old pressure bleeder was spilling fluid all over. It was a homemade kinda thing, but it worked for a while. Once I got the max pro HD kit, I bled the lines on my old Chevy truck in like 30 minutes. And I replaced the master cylinder and lines , back to the rear axle. Would have been a good 2 hours or more with the old 2 man way of doing it. I couldn’t be happier with it, best tool I’ve bought in a long time.
Matthew V.
The nipples on the bleeder valve keep coming off, even when I held it on the bleeder valve it still leaked. Also in the instructions it does not tell you the hoses are inside under the plastic case?
Chuck A.
Took a while to figure out how to connect the hoses on the front of it. I don't know how to keep fluid from coming out of the bleeder screw when reverse bleeding. I just barely opened the bleeder screw & i still can't get it to quit leaking like they do on the videos.
Daniel b.
Good quality metal and case. Can't wait to use it
Hector V.
I purchased this tool to do the Brakes on my 06 Dodge sprinter because I change the master cylinder and don’t work to remove the air from the Brake lines and ABS module at the end I use the original dealer tool to activate the ABS pump to pull al the air out
Johnathan T.
Very easy to use
Steven G.
Made a one person brake job so easy
Ricky P.
We replaced several new parts on my sons truck including a rear wheel cylinder, a brake line, the booster, and a new master cylinder and could not get it to bleed properly, we fought bubbles for 4 days trying everything, even replacing more parts, more lines, and finally purchased the MaxProHD tool and reverse bled the system and immediately found the new master cylinder leaking and this had not shown up previously until we used your tool!!! We replaced the master cylinder again, bench bled it, reverse bled the system from longest to shortest runs and immediately had great pedal pressure. I talked with one of my buddies and found out he had one too and had fought bleeding a clutch and after buying and using your tool he immediately had great results as well. I highly, highly recommend this tool and it has worked GREAT for myself and my buddy for both brakes and a clutch. Happy to have this tool in my box and will look at any other products they have in the future. Thank you again!!!

I purchased one from a Snap-on dealer back in 2000. Loved it, had it here in my shop in North Carolina and someone stole it. I have several projects and need one.
Stuart B.
Works well so far

Delivered on time.

Unlike probably everyone else I'm not using this on cars or trucks I using this on airplanes. I used it once and I adequately performed. My only disappointment was the version that I received and the one advertised was different, specifically how it is squeezed. The one I received you pull the pump handle forward the one advertised you pull the pump handle rearward. Also I was disappointed with the "European style" adapter that attaches to the bleed port. I felt it's quality was low compared to what was advertised.
Being this said it worked. The only thing that will be interesting to see how it will hold up to the brake hydraulic fluid ( mineral based mil-spec 5606) used in small airplanes.
Bradley F.
When I used to bleed my brakes before buying your tool, I would always have to have my dad or someone else to help me. My brakes never really seemed to come out as stiff as I liked them to be. Once I saw Reverse Brake Bleeder on Gearz, I had to buy one and it made all the difference in the world. I could do all the work myself, and I got the stiffness in my brake pedal that I had been looking for. I use the Reverse Brake Bleeder on my Mustang to make sure that my brakes stay nice and stiff. Thanks for the awesome tool.

Nice heavy duty tool.

Great product good people to deal with you have to add this to your tool box

This is one of the best tools that I own! Very handy & a Quality product. I use it several times a week- a real time saver! The Phoenix Tech guys are very helpfull & knowledgeable!!
Jeremy A. Davito
I bought this to do a thorough bleed on the brake system on my 1970 Corvette. All four calipers, pads, rotors, master cylinder and all lines were replaced, and the Phoenix Injector made the process much simpler. Reverse bleeding from all 4 calipers got a firm pedal very quickly!
Jeffery Groves
I like the ability to bleed my brakes by myself. The system does what it is advertised to do. When reverse bleeding you have to make sure that you do not squeeze the trigger to fast or you will have brake fluid on the underside of your hood and all over your engine which is a mess. When you are under the vehicle you don't know how full the master cylinder is getting and those brake lines don't hold as much as you think they do. I recommend putting the master cylinder lid on before reverse bleeding. I still think it is a two person job, one to watch the master cylinder and the other to do the bleeding, at least you don't need someone pumping the brakes.

After going through several of Phoenix Systems' "Light Duty" reverse bleed tools, I purchased this tool for one purpose. That is the bleeding of hydraulic clutches. The tool works better than anything else that I have tried for clutch bleeding. Especially for vehicles that use a Concentric Slave Cylinder. The reverse bleeder also works quite well for motorcycle brakes. I use a different tool for automotive brake bleeding.
Al Amri
item is as described, it's quality made, so far it's holding fine and looks like it will last for some time.
thomas leckey
save a lot of time .Made brakes respond better for drag racing

Worked great till I got robbed and someone stole it... I guess I am not the only one who likes this product.
FAST EDDIE
Added lift kit and better brakes to my CHEVY Z71. A must for safe driving!
John
Work as advertised. I am very happy with the one man brake bleeder. I'm looking forward to using it again.
Tony
price much to high and very expensive , had this item several and could not really figure out how to use it, bad video and manual forthe cost
D. K. Numinen
have used for several clutch and brake bleeds works great
Tony
Expensive 0pusjed all my fluid in from the caliper.
E Boles
Disappointed that the system was delivered missing adapters and the magnet holder. I would expect for the price to received ALL the parts.
Ron
I used this to bleed my clutch and brakes on my motorcycle. It is overkill for one vehicle, but I may try to do our primary 4 wheeled vehicle also. It works well, but use at least two methods for that warm and fuzzy feeling.
Amazon Customer
doesn't work as good as i thought.
AdamAdam
This bleeding system probably would've worked if it was assembled better. Tool was delivered with chips and touch-up marks in paint straight out of the box. I've bought cheaper tools that looked way better, so this already made me question the tool. Assembled the kit and followed the instructions for priming the pump. The fittings and hoses are good materials, but there was a leak somewhere in the supply hose because I could never get a solid column of fluid into the pump. Tool is useless if I'm pumping air bubbles into the brake hydraulics, so I returned it. Took Phoenix customer service almost 5 hours to call me back, by that time I had repackaged it and was done wasting time with a sub-par tool in this relatively high price point.
trarmour
Hose fittings come apart while trying to bleed the brakes as well as always leaving a little air left in the top of the brake caliper. It is mentioned in the instructions to "Burp" the calipers by briefly opening up the bleeder valve after bleeding which was done at each caliper. The bleeder fitting on the calipers are always short distance down from the top. Pushing fluid from the brake caliper back to the master appears to leave a slight amount of trapped air in the top of the caliper. After the brakes were bled completely with this unit we bled the brakes with one man in the vehicle working the brake pedal and the other at the bleeder valve on the calipers. Each of the 4 calipers had a short bubble of air at the beginning of re-bleeding each caliper however after the first bubble at each caliper there was no more air in the lines.
lv2fxit
I was reluctant to buy this because there are a ton of products out there that do the same thing. Now that I used it, I can tell that the designers took their time. Everything fits right, it has a ton of adapters which help keep the brake fluid from spilling all over the floor. It is still expensive and it is why I didn't give it 5 stars, although the manufacturer does sell a less expensive (plastic) version
Sean
Tool requires much effort to squeeze handle to force fluid backward through system. Handle doesn't return easily and requires to be pulled back. Fittings start to leak slightly under the high pressure required to move fluid. Nice concept, but in rugged professional use it is slightly overpriced at $300. I've been a mobile tech for years and have experimented with every type of one-man bleeding system available and the only one that really works is a pneumatic pedal pumper that physically moves the brake pedal remotely while cracking the bleeders.

im a fleet mechanic for a landscaping company and see everything from the boss's kids motocross bikes to a tri axle dump truck. Ive used every method out there bleeding brakes. I work alone and have to have the tools that work, one night i might be under a plow truck running brake lines and on a shift of 10 hours and counting i dont have the patience for something that wont work, this tool is good quality and comes with a good manual and i would read it if u want the full potential of the tool. If ur still using a vaccum bleeder u need to update cause without a by derectional scan tool ur not gunna have succes without this tool.
Kyllie hubbard
I have not had any luck with it. if, by any chance, you borrowed a friend's and it worked well for you then I would get it it. I tried the RFI but the fluid just seems to be going onto the ground rather than through the bleeder. I have no way of actually knowing if it slightly helped. Then I wanted to try pressure bleeding, but the lid on the bottle it came with was stuck and I ended up breaking the tabs and eventually the lid itself. I'm sure the cheaper option would have done the same thing. The instructions seem a little vague at some parts, but for the most part thorough. The dvd didn't really clarify anything for me. It was just the same videos I somehow ran into when I was on youtube. It isn't really fair for me to say that this is or isn't worth buying just because of my luck, I'm really just ranting because of that. But if you could get a way of trying it before you buy it then I would choose that option.
SteveD
Amazon order, delivery, reorder and return are top notch. The Phoenix System MaxProHD is a nice tool and it works at least for RFI. However, this is priced as a premium tool and there are some things lacking even in the replacement tool. According to the Smart-Pak Module description on page six of the user manual these items are:- #7 is missing one of three taper adapters- #10 the 3/16 x 4 mm adapter is missing- #15 the 28 mm bottle cap is missing- #16 the 33 mm bottle cap is missingI wrote Phoenix Systems about this and they blamed Amazon.I wrote and talked with Amazon and they sent out a replacement tool the next day. The replacement tool had the same items missing.Additionally, page 4 of the user manual has a photo of the MaxProHD and a legend BUT, the photo is not numbered or labeled with the number to correspond with the legend so one can not determine what the legend is trying to show.Further, and on page 4, the "Adjustments" paragraph discusses how to adjust two things BUT, there is no correlation with the numbers in the paragraph and any legend, procedure or exploded views in the user manual. For a premium priced tool, this is not satisfactory.Update 5.31.21 The product description says it "Comes with instructional DVD" - neither product had the DVD!

I had no problems using this, it worked just like I thought it would

The Maxi-Ject PRO(tm) is a fine instrument specifically designed to address complex hydraulic system bleeding requirements. You have never seen an automotive tool with the workmanship of precision firearm. The Maxi-Ject PRO(tm) is in a class by itself with precision machined steel plunger assembly, die cast aluminum handle and body, shielded barrel, "O" ringed steel nozzle with screw-on support collar and injection molded check valves. The lever action handle reduces hand force and doubles potential injection pressure. Full-range adjustable metering allows fine-tuning for special applications. This Injector is especially useful in 4WAL ABS and intricate aircraft hydraulics. The Maxi-Ject PRO(tm) can develop 150 psi of injection pressure with a 15ml injection dosage. The Can be used to perform all known bleeding methods including: RFI(tm) (reverse), Pressure and vacuum * Includes: Maxi-Ject PRO(tm) injector, Smart-Pak (resevoir bottle, hoses, bleeding adapters, brake fluid bottle adapters, tee fittings, plugs), molded carrying case.

I bought this product with high hopes of putting my brake bleeding problems behind me! Though it does work pretty well it is not nearly as neat and tighty as advertised. When you use the RFI technique brake fluid leaks out of the bleeder screw threads. This is normal as I confirmed it with Phoenix Systmes tech support. Over all the product does work and I would recommend it if you bleed a lot of systems.
Jim D. Zick
It works great for brakes and clutch bleeding
Amazon Customer
This works great and gets the job done single handedly and quickly. Don't bother with the cheaper plastic versions, I had the green one (2104-B) and it broke on the 1st usage and is junk. This one is expensive but it comes with a lot of extra adapters etc and it work.
Amazon Customer
The tool is well-built quality craftsmanship and it works! I had a hydraulic clutch on a semi that I just could not get the air out of spent hours trying to bleed it even use the vacuum style I got this new max pro tool and it worked, in 10 minutes I had a good pedal and the truck shifts better than it ever has it used to always be hard to get out of reverse not any more. I read some bad reviews about this tool before I bought it and some good reviews and of course you're going to get a little oil on things whenever you bleed brakes but other than that the tool works great.
Steven
Great quality and well laid out instructions with all fittings needed for any type use
